There is more to life than stereotypes - eTwinning Project

There is more to life than stereotypes - eTwinning Project

About the project

Time to change over-generalized ideas about people or gender, so students will reflect on stereotypes and show it to their school community.
This short project leads students in having an active and civic engagement towards society, school and themselves in human relationships.

AIMS

- Learn about the meaning of stereotypes.
- Raise awareness regarding ideas/stereotypes that students have.
- Develop the sense of an important civic engagement in national and European culture.
- Participate actively in the school community.

WORK PROCESS

Students will discuss the topic of stereotypes in the classroom.
Then, they will make a questionnaire in google forms about what type of stereotypes exist among their school peers. They will reflect on the results.
A poster about stereotypes will be made in transnational teams and placed around the schools. This will lead other students to think about the topic.
Students will write their ideas/opinions on what should be done to cease some stereotypes and create a collaborative digital book.
To end the project, students will fill their assessment.

EXPECTED RESULTS

The final result are the posters that students will create and place in their school and their opinions/ideas that should be treasured and valued as the best result, showing what they have learned throughout the project.
